Congratulations Alec Rothman

Our Very Own Outstanding Youth, Alec Rothman!!!!

A special congratulations to Alec Rothman! He was one of five students chosen by Children’s Services Council of St. Lucie County to win the Outstanding Youth Award 2013. We are very proud of him. Below is the letter of top recommendation from our own Frank Krukauskas:

To Whom It May Concern:

Alec Rothman volunteered for our Summer Adventure Camp and the Daniel M Center for Behavioral Change. During this time, he was a dependable volunteer who never missed a shift.

Alec was an asset to the program and a great mentor/assistant counselor for our children attending the summer camp program. Alec was always pleasant and willing to assist with any task that we assigned him. It is often difficult to find adults who are willing to work with children with serious behavioral heath issues. Alec endured the summer hear and the challenges that our children present, with a smile.

Alec is planning on attending college and studying to become an anesthesiologist or a Behavioral Therapist. Personally I hope he chooses to pursue a career in Applied Behavior Analysis, he has a gift. Alec was motivated and interested in learning as much as possible about strategies working with children with behavioral and emotional disabilities. Alec will be misses as a volunteer, and I highly recommend him for consideration for the Outstanding Youth Scholarship. It’s refreshing to see today’s youth show an interest in impacting the lives of children with emotional/behavioral disabilities.

Sincerely,

Frank Krudauskas BCaBA

Congratulations Alec!! Also, thank you to Children’s Services Council of St. Lucie County for the opportunity to shine a  much deserved positive spotlight on Alec!
